Complaint What Happened |
On XX/XX/, my partner, XXXX, reached out to Valon Mortgage to inquire about financial options, expressly seeking information without any intention of initiating a loan application. During the conversation with XXXX XXXX, the loan officer, XXXX shared his financial and personal details. Importantly, I was not part of this initial call, and at no point did I authorize or intend to be involved in a loan application.
To my dismay, later that day, I received an email notification indicating the initiation of a home equity loan application in my name, with XXXX listed as a co-signer. Despite my lack of interest in pursuing such a loan, I was prompted to submit income and ID documentation, which I promptly dismissed. Subsequently, on XXXX XXXX XXXX I received an email from Valon Mortgage claiming that I had submitted the loan application. Simultaneously, XXXX XXXX reported a credit inquiry by a home mortgage company, causing considerable distress and concern.
Upon contacting Valon Mortgage, XXXX denied any involvement in the unauthorized application and directed me to XXXX, a senior loan officer. Unfortunately, both XXXX and XXXX proved unhelpful and resistant, refusing to initiate an investigation or provide clarity on the situation. This lack of cooperation has significantly exacerbated the challenges associated with resolving the unauthorized application issue.
During my call with XXXX on XX/XX/, I explicitly requested the closure of the unauthorized application. Regrettably, my request has not been addressed, and to my astonishment, on XX/XX/, I received another email notification requesting ID verification.
Furthermore, despite my attempt to follow up with XXXX on XX/XX/, I have not received any response. This lack of communication intensifies my frustration and difficulty in resolving this matter promptly.
TLTR : An unauthorized home equity loan application was processed and submitted without my knowledge or explicit authorization. This situation has raised significant concerns, as I had not granted consent for such a transaction. The lack of notification or approval on my part prompts the need for a thorough investigation and a swift resolution to rectify this unauthorized action I have been in contact with the mortgage company and the loan officer, XXXX XXXX, who originated and initiated the application. However, they proved to be unhelpful and resistant, refusing my ask for an internal investigation to help provide clarity and rectify the situation

Complaint What Happened |
There have been two issues with this new company that my mortgage has been sold to ( I never would have picked this company as my mortgage company ) : - I have my bills paid by my bank bill pay and they send the checks on time, always. This company holds the checks, not giving me proper credit for paying my mortgage on time. The photo I've submitted ( a screen shot of my account page ) on XX/XX/21 will show you that I have not gotten credit for paying my XXXX payment on time even though my bank sent the payment to be delivered on XX/XX/21.
- When my mortgage was transferred there was no information given to me about having to change my insurance to their company. I randomly logged onto my account and saw information about this, but then the next time I logged on it was gone. Had I not randomly logged on this one day, I would have been in the situation of them buying their own fake insurance for my house and not communicating with me regarding what needed to be done re insurance. The photo I've submitted similarly shows no information about the insurance issue.
